"Posey Jarvis is the perfect villain. She’s snooty, narcissistic, and calculated. I loved her journey in this story as she confronts her past while simultaneously imagining her perfect future.
Callie Jane and Vern Jarvis are the antithesis and provide so many light-hearted and loving moments. Together, this family provides an engaging and suspenseful story about reputation, aspiration, and found family.
As a bonus, the supporting characters are delightful (Evangeline and Trace especially!) and the small-town setting adds intrigue to this compelling story.
Without giving spoilers, I hope there is a follow-up because I want more from the Jarvis women!"
